ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University men's soccer team lost to NACC conference opponent, Concordia University Wisconsin 3-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
Wesley Pritzlaff went the distance in goal for the Regents stopping eight shots while allowing three goals.
Francesco Stoner recorded a team-high four shots while
Jose Lane Mendoza put up two shots on goal.
CUC drew first blood in the 19th minute with a goal from Matthew Payne, and put one more in the back of the net in the 43rd minute from Nevin Volarath, as CUC led 2-0 at halftime.
Both defenses battled it out in the second half, until Volarath scored again to put the game away in the 88th minute for the Falcons.
The Regents will return to action on Friday, Oct. 17, with a 3:30 p.m. CDT NACC match vs Edgewood University at Sam Greeley Field.
