ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University women's soccer team fell to the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors took control from the jump, scoring three goals in the first 10 minutes of action. Ava Darling converted twice in a span of 45 seconds.
The banged up Regents were able to hold Wisconsin Lutheran scoreless for the rest of the first period.Â
WLC tacked on 3 more goals in the second half to cruise to a 6-0 victory.
The Regents will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 8, for Senior Day against Benedictine kickoff off at 3 p.m. CDT.
