ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University women's bowling team finished in 22nd place out of 28 teams at the Leatherneck Classic on Saturday and Sunday at The Cherry Bowl.
Leading the Regents was
Neelah Vandeberg, who placed 31st overall out of 249 competitors with her 923 series. Vandeberg got off to a hot start, scoring a game-high 247 in her first game, setting a program record for the highest individual game recorded.
In the baker games, the Regents knocked down 2,936 pins.
The Regents will return to action on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 15 & 16, when they will travel to Appleton, Wis., to compete at the Titan Invitational at Bowlero Super Bowl.
