MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The Rockford women's volleyball team fell 3-0 to Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday.
Ashley Miller led the Regents offensively with eight kills. Leila Cooks totaled eight assists, and Keara Ross added nine digs. Jailyn Rhodes also recorded nine blocks.
In the first set, Rockford and Milwaukee School of Engineering were tied at 22 before the Raiders scored three unanswered points to take the set, 25-22.
In the second set, the Regents never led, falling 25-17.
In the third set, the Regents held a brief lead at 5-4 but surrendered an 18-9 run. A late push from the Regents fell short, as they dropped the final set to lose the match 3-0.
The Regents will return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 23, with a 7 p.m. CDT matchup against non-conference opponent Knox at Seaver Center.
