ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University men's soccer team fell to non-conference opponent, Millikin, 3-0 on Sunday at Sam Greeley Field.
Juan Sarmiento made eight saves.
Both teams were scoreless going into halftime.
In the second half, Millikin scored in the 49th minute from Nick Orr off a penalty kick to make it 1-0. In the 52nd minute, the Big Blue scored again making it 2-0 from Kyle Borcherding. The last goal came in the 86th minute from Mikkel Opdahl to put it away for the Big Blue.
The Regents will return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 24, with a 4 p.m. CDT game against NAAC conference opponent Dominican.
