DE PERE, Wis. -- The Rockford University men's basketball team lost to St. Norbert College, 77-58, on Wednesday.
Jaden Bell and
Luke Stuckey both scored in double-figures for the Regents with 12 and 10 respectively.
Kamren Hogan,
Adrian Agee, and
Tre Miller all added nine points.
On the glass, Hogan had a team-high nine rebounds.
St. Norbert built a big lead up 28-11 in the first half which was part of a 21-4 run, and led at halftime 36-22.
The Regents did not quit and fought back to eventually trim the deficit to five trailing 50-45 when Agee knocked down a jumper with 10:31 remaining, which was a part of a 23-14 spurt in the first 9:29 of the second half.
Unfortunately for the Regents, the Green Knights ultimately pulled away going on a 16-5 run in a span of 6:10, as the Regents were unable to put in a second run.
On the evening, the Regents shot 39.6% from the floor and 33.3% from three.
The Regents will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 24, when they will play at Wisconsin Lutheran College at 3:15 p.m. CST.
