ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University men's basketball team earned its twelfth NACC Tournament appearance, and broke the program record with its sixth straight NACC Tournament appearance, after defeating Illinois Tech on senior night last Wednesday, 80-59. The Regents will face the second-seeded St. Norbert College Green Knights at 7 PM in the quarterfinal round on Tuesday, February 24. This will be the third meeting between the Regents and the Green Knights this season. St. Norbert won the first game on December 3, 73-59, at the Seaver Center before completing the sweep on January 21, winning 77-58. If the Regents win, they would then travel to the winner of the sixth seed, Benedictine University, or the third seed, Aurora University on Thursday, February 26. Should the Regents continue to advance, they would be on the road once again on Saturday, February 28, in the NACC Tournament Championship Game.
