ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University women's soccer team dropped its first conference match, 4-0, to the Concordia University Chicago Cougars on Wednesday afternoon.
CUC scored in the sixtth minute of this competition. Natalie Flores finished off of a Sofia Cazares setup.
The Cougars held possession for the majority of this contest. They put constant pressure on the Regent's defense.
Three other Cougars would find the net before the final horn. Concordia Chicago worked its way to a 4-0 victory.
Rockford was outshot 42-2, and beaten 9-1 in shots on goal.
The Regents will return to action on Saturday, Sep. 19, when they host Alma College at noon on the turf at Sam Greeley Field.
