ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University women's soccer team fell to Alma College, 7-0, on Saturday at Sam Greeley Field.
The Scots got on the scoreboard in the fifth minute when Audri Torok found the back of the net. Alma added two more goals before halftime, with Kaitlyn Rayburn scoring in the 13th minute and Abby Wonnacott scoring in the 33rd minute.
Alma continued to add to its lead in the second half, with Ivy Beall scoring in the 47th minute. Mackenzie Keck then scored twice in the 49th and 54th minutes before Kaitlyn Rayburn scored her second goal of the afternoon in the 64th minute.
Rockford was outshot 26-1, while Alma held a 16-1 advantage in shots on goal.
The Regents will return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 4 p.m. to face Dominican University.
