Women's Soccer Drops NACC Match at Dominican

RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- The Rockford University women's soccer team fell to Dominican University, 7-0, on Wednesday.

Dominican scored twice early, with Megan Wilhite and Sierra Rioux finding the back of the net in the third and fourth minutes, respectively. Wilhite scored again in the 10th minute to put the Stars up 3-0. The Stars were held scoreless until Khloe Lopez and Chloe Sikora scored in the 32nd and 36th minutes, respectively, to give Dominican a 5-0 lead at halftime.

The Stars added to their lead in the second half, with Lopez scoring again in the 70th minute before Grace Durante scored the final goal of the match in the 76th minute.

Lily Rose made nine saves for the Regents.

The Regents will return to action on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. against Marian University.
