DECATUR, Ill. -- The Rockford University men's soccer team fell to Millikin University, 4-0, on Saturday.
The Big Blue took a 1-0 lead when Bryce Davis scored in the first half as the lead remained 1-0 after the first 45 minutes.
Millikin extended its lead in the 53rd minute when Mikkel Opdahl found the back of the net. Aquilies Yibirin added another goal five minutes later to make it 3-0 before Matthew Hart scored the final goal of the match in the 68th minute.
Rockford was outshot 20-8.
Matthew Ayala led the Regents with two shots, including one on goal.
The Regents will return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 23, when they return to Sam Greeley Field to face Dominican University. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
