Sophomore Laina Scheri (Cortland, Ill./DeKalb) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending October 21, 2012. This past week Scheri had one of her best three game stretches of the season recording double-digit kills in all three matches during the week. Scheri had a total of 42 kills including 17 in the Regents win on Friday against Marian. The sophomore also added 19 digs, 5 service aces and 3 blocks during the week.
