ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced Tuesday afternoon that Rockford University freshman Miguel Gallardo has been voted NACC Honorable Mention by the conference's thirteen head coaches. This is Gallardo's first ever award from the NACC. He also becomes the first Regent to receive a postseason award this year.

Miguel Gallardo led the Regents in every offensive category and was reward by the conference with a NACC Honorable Mention selection. Gallardo finished the 2021 season with team-highs in goals (3), assists (3), points (9), shots (27) and shots on goal (11). Additionally, Gallardo scored the game winning goal in the 73rd minute of Rockford's 2-1 road win over Edgewood. Gallardo's game-winner gave Rockford back-to-back NACC victories over the Eagles for the first time in program history.
