LISLE, Ill. - The Rockford University men's soccer team fell 4-1 on the road Wednesday night to the Benedictine University Eagles. After surrendering a pair of goals in the first half, Rockford scored a goal less than ten minutes into the second half and cut the Eagle lead down to just one. Unfortunately, Benedictine responded with a goal less than two minutes later and another in the 74th minute to secure the victory.
- Benedictine struck for a pair of first half goals from Manav Soorma in the 16th minute and Moses Mata in the 31st minute to take a 2-0 advantage into the break.
- Rockford's Javier Palacios cut the Eagle lead in half with an unassisted goal in the 55th minute of the match. It was his second goal of the season, with the other coming back on September 9th against Saint Mary's.
- Unfortunately, Benedictine's Alex Pillath answered with a goal of his own less than two minutes later to make it a 3-1 game.
- Alex Pillath added another goal in the 74th minute to seal the 4-1 Eagle win.
