ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University men's volleyball team (2-12, 0-3 NACC) was beaten in three straight sets by Marian University (14-2, 3-0 NACC) for the second time this season. Marian was in control of the match from the beginning and never allowed Rockford to gain any momentum. Marian was able to hit over 25 percent on attacks while holding Rockford to a negative percentage in the second and third sets to help secure the win.

- The Sabres put together multiple three-point runs to extend the lead closer to the set point, making the score 20-12.
- Marian scored five of the next nine points to take the first set handedly with a final score of 25-16.
- Marian jumped out to an early lead to start the second set, going up 8-2.
- The Sabres only built the lead from there, putting up 20 points before Rockford was able to reach double digits.
- Marian finished the second set shortly after, winning by a final score of 25-13.
