ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University men's volleyball team (2-12, 0-3 NACC) was beaten in three straight sets by Marian University (14-2, 3-0 NACC) for the second time this season. Marian was in control of the match from the beginning and never allowed Rockford to gain any momentum. Marian was able to hit over 25 percent on attacks while holding Rockford to a negative percentage in the second and third sets to help secure the win.

- Marian scored five of the next nine points to take the first set handedly with a final score of 25-16.

- The Sabres only built the lead from there, putting up 20 points before Rockford was able to reach double digits.
