ROCKFORD, Ill. - Rockford University senior starting pitcher
Paul Turelli was named Third Team All-Region by D3baseball.com on Tuesday morning. This is the second postseason award for Turelli this year, as he was voted Second Team All-NACC earlier in the month. Turelli also led the NACC with a .143 batting average against, was third in runs allowed (26), fourth in earned runs allowed (20), sixth in earned run average (3.78), thirteenth in starts (9) and third in strikeouts (75) despite pitching 22 less innings than the NACC strikeout leader.
