DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The Rockford University women's indoor track & field team traveled to Dubuque to compete in the Moco Mercer Challenge.
In the field events,
Mariah Williams jumped 4.46m (14-7.50) in the long jump.
Ashley Mersch competed in the shot put, throwing for 8.80m (28-10.50).
On the track,
Donna Whiteside and
Malia Niles each ran the 1000. They clocked in right next to each other at 4:03.40 and 4:03.85.
Courtney Murphy ran the 3200, finishing with a 13:49.62 time.Â
The women's 4x400 team consisted of Williams, Murphy, Whiteside, and Niles. They finished with a time of 5:16.11.
The Regents will have a long break before competing again on Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Aurora Grand Prix.
