ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University baseball team earned a program and school record ten All-NACC selections on Thursday afternoon when the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference released its postseason awards for the 2025 season. Outfielder
Joseph Stagowski was voted the NACC Position Player of the Year, and becomes only the second Regent in program history to earn the award (Kyle Standridge, 2010).

Senior outfielder
Joseph Stagowski capped off an amazing career with an incredible final season. Stagowski was voted both the NACC Position Player of the Year and First Team All-NACC. This marks the third straight year that he has received postseason recognition from the conference (NACC Honorable Mention in 2022 and 2023). Stagowski ended the regular season ranked in the top twenty in the NACC in a remarkable thirteen offensive categories, including leading the conference in five of them. He led the NACC in doubles (22), OPS (1.355), slugging percentage (.837), hit by pitches (17) and on-base percentage (.518). Stagowski also finished second in runs (55), home runs (13) and total bases (118), third in RBIs (47) and walks (32), fifth in triples (3), fifteenth in batting average (.362) and nineteenth in hits (51). Nationally, he ranked in the top thirty-three in seven categories among all NCAA Division III baseball players. Stagowski finished the regular season third in doubles, fifth in doubles per game (0.55), twelfth in slugging percentage and total bases, twenty-first in home runs, twenty-fifth in runs and thirty-third in runs per game. He was also named the NACC Position Player of the Week once this season and broke multiple program records. Stagowski broke the school record for doubles in a season (22) and in a career (54). He is also the new single-season record holder for slugging percentage (.847), and he tied the career home runs record (33).
Junior outfielder and pitcher
Zach Fabis was selected First Team All-NACC as a utility player. This marks the first time that Fabis has received a postseason award from the conference. He finished the regular season in the top twenty in the NACC in nine offensive categories and six pitching categories. Offensively, Fabis entered the conference tournament fifth in the NACC in triples (3), sixth in batting average (.386), eleventh in on-base percentage (.463) and OPS (1.042), thirteenth in slugging percentage (.579), fourteenth in hits (54), fifteenth in doubles (12), nineteenth in RBIs (34) and twentieth in total bases (81). On the mound, Fabis ranked fifth in the conference in wins (5), tenth in fewest hits allowed (52), thirteenth in fewest earned runs allowed (24), fifteenth in batting average against (.283), sixteenth in earned run average (4.60) and nineteenth in strikeouts (34). He also added a pair of saves in his six relief appearances.
Senior starting pitcher
Brayden Bidwell was voted Second Team All-NACC. This is his first ever postseason award from the conference. Bidwell was extremely reliable and probably Rockford's best starting pitcher during conference schedule. The senior went at least six innings and allowed two or fewer earned runs in five of his six NACC starts, including a complete game performance at St. Norbert where he surrendered just four hits and one run with six strikeouts. Bidwell ended the regular season ranked in the top twenty in the NACC in nine different pitching categories. He finished twelfth in batting average against (.270) and fewest hits allowed (53), thirteenth in innings pitched (50.1), sixteenth in starts (8), seventeenth in fewest walks allowed (16), eighteenth in wins (3), nineteenth in strikeouts looking (10) and fewest earned runs allowed (27) and twentieth in earned run average (4.83).
Junior first baseman
Kadin Bergstrom was named Second Team All-NACC despite his season being shortened due to an injury. This is also his first postseason award from the NACC. Bergstrom anchored the middle of the Rockford lineup over his 35 games played. Despite missing the final five NACC games of the season, Bergstrom is still in the top twenty in the NACC in six categories heading into the conference tournament. He is second in the NACC in home runs (13), fourth in slugging percentage (.711) and OPS (1.119), fifth in RBIs (46), sixth in total bases (96) and eighteenth in runs scored (38). At the national level, Bergstrom is also ranked in the top fifty among all NCAA Division III baseball players in three categories. At the conclusion of the regular season, he is twelfth in home runs per game (0.37), twenty-first in home runs and forty-ninth in RBIs per game (1.31). Additionally, Bergstrom tied the school record with three home runs in a single game against Beloit midway through the season.
Senior third baseman
Jake Bilotta was voted Second Team All-NACC for the second consecutive season. He was an All-NACC performer last year at shortstop and has now earned the same recognition this season at third base. Bilotta was a stalwart out of the leadoff spot in the order for the Regents all season long. The senior broke a trio of school records this year and tied a fourth. He broke the school records for stolen bases in a season (28), runs in a career (182) and at bats in a career (639). He also tied the school record with 4 stolen bases in Rockford's 11-2 win at Lakeland. Bilotta entered the NACC Tournament ranked in the top twenty in the conference in twelve categories. He led the NACC in runs scored (63), finished fourth in stolen bases (28) and doubles (16), fifth in at bats (167) and total bases (100), seventh in hits (59), ninth in home runs (7) and OPS (1.051), tenth in slugging percentage (.599), twelfth in walks (24), fourteenth in triples (2) and sixteenth in on-base percentage (.452). Additionally, Bilotta ranked in the top fifty among all NCAA Division III baseball players in five categories at the conclusion of the regular season. Bilotta finished fifth in runs scored, seventh in runs per game (1.58), thirty-eighth in stolen bases, forty-third in doubles and forty-ninth in stolen bases per game (0.70).
Junior second baseman
Blaise Mace was selected Second Team All-NACC by the conference's thirteen head coaches. This marks the first time in his career that he has received a postseason award from the NACC. Mace has played both second base and shortstop throughout his career, but this year he served as Rockford's primary second baseman. Twenty-nine of Mace's thirty-one starts came at second base with the other two coming at shortstop. Mace set career-highs in basically every statistical category this season. He finished the regular season with a .320 batting average, a .386 on-base percentage and a .426 slugging percentage. Mace had 39 hits, including 9 doubles and 2 triples, 21 RBIs, 22 runs scored, 11 walks, 10 stolen bases and 4 hit by pitches.
Junior shortstop
Zach Duke was named NACC Honorable Mention for the 2025 season. This is his first NACC postseason award of his career. Duke stepped in and seized the starting role at shortstop in his first season as a full-time starter for the Regents. Duke appeared in all 40 games with 35 starts at shortstop and posted career-highs in every statistical category. He entered the NACC Tournament with a .321 batting average, a .352 on-base percentage, a .389 slugging percentage and solid .926 fielding percentage. Duke had 42 hits, including 6 doubles and his first collegiate home run, 34 runs scored, 22 RBIs, 7 walks, 7 stolen bases and a hit by pitch.
Senior relief pitcher
Will Hissong was selected NACC Honorable Mention for the second consecutive season. Hissong led the Regents with 19 appearances this year, all of which came out of the bullpen. He currently leads the NACC and is seventh among all NCAA Division III baseball players with 8 saves. Hissong has pitched 22.2 innings with a 4.37 earned run average and a .281 batting average against. He has been a reliable arm out of the bullpen for the Regents throughout his career. His 8 saves this season is currently tied for the single-season school record. Hissong also broke the career saves record at Rockford by recording 15 saves thus far.
Senior starting pitcher
Adrian Rapier was named NACC Honorable Mention. This is the first time he has received a postseason award from the NACC. Rapier consistently went deep in games, logging at least six innings in six straight starts, including a trio of eight inning performances. He ended the regular season ranked in the top twenty in the NACC in nine different categories. Rapier was sixth in the NACC in strikeouts (54) and fewest hits allowed (49), seventh in batting average against (.249), twelfth in innings pitched (50.2), thirteenth in earned run average (4.26) and fewest earned runs allowed (24), fifteenth in strikeouts looking (12), sixteenth in starts (8) and eighteenth in wins (3).
Junior starting pitcher
Alex Easton was voted NACC Honorable Mention. This marks the first time in his collegiate career that he has earned a postseason award from the NACC. Easton was the workhorse for the RU pitching staff during the 2025 season. He led the Regents in almost every pitching category and made 14 appearances, which included 8 starts and 6 more appearances out of the bullpen. Easton ranked in the top twenty in the conference in seven categories heading into the NACC Tournament. He finished fifth in the NACC in wins (5), sixth in earned run average (3.67), tenth in innings pitched (54.0), eleventh in fewest earned runs allowed (22), sixteenth in starts (8) and nineteenth in strikeouts (34) and batting average against (.292).
