PLATTEVILLE, Wis. -- The Rockford University women's indoor track & field team competed at the UW-Platteville Invite on Saturday.
For the second week in a row,
Mariah Williams set the indoor triple jump record, this time jumping 10.30m (33-9.50) which put her in fourth place overall. She also ran the 200m, finishing in 28.60.
Ashley Mersch competed in a variety of different events. She ran both the 60m hurdles and the 400m dash, clocking in at 12.65 and 1:18.55, respectively. Mersch also recorded a jump of 3.85m (12-7.50) in her final attempt in the long jump.
Ella Oldham also competed in the long jump, leaping 3.57m (11-8.50).
In the 800m dash, both
Malia Niles and
Donna Whiteside crossed the finish line. Niles clocked in at 3:17.71 while Whiteside came in right after at 3:32.64.
In the long distance events,
Courtney Murphy ran both the mile and the 3000m. She finished fourth in the mile with a time of 6:07.88. In the 3000m, she came in sixth with a time of 12:40.00.
Brianna Torres finished two spots ahead of her in 12:15.00.
The Regents have the weekend off before returning to action at the NACC Indoor Championship in Ripon, Wis., on Friday, Feb. 27.
