Marcus Taylor has been named NACC Baseball Position Player of the Week. This is Taylor's first NACC weekly award and the first NACC weekly award for the baseball program this season.
Taylor had a very impressive week, with a .519 batting average in eight games of action. He recorded 14 hits, three home runs, 10 RBIs, three doubles, drew two walks, and scored 10 runs as the Regents went 6-2 in the eight games from March 8-13.
The RU baseball team will be back in action at home on Saturday, March 21, vs. Marian University in a NACC doubleheader with the first pitch set for noon CDT.
