DE PERE, Wis. -- The Rockford University women's outdoor track & field team competed at the St. Norbert Early Bird Meet on Saturday. The Regents finished fifth overall, competing against the likes of UW-Stevens Point, Michigan Tech, and St. Norbert.
Mariah Williams had another successful day. She was second in both the long jump and triple jump, with measurements of 4.80m (15-8.98) and 9.58m (31-5.17), respectively. She also ran the 100m dash, finishing fifth with a time of 13.36.
Ella Oldham ran the 100m as well, finishing in 15.38.
Ashley Mersch competed in both the discus and shot put. She finished third overall in discus, with a throw of 35.26m (115-8.19). Her best shot put was 9.27m (30-4.96), placing her in 10th.
Courtney Murphy ran both the 800m and 1500m. Her times were 2:51.45 in the 800m, finishing ninth, and 5:46.45 in the 1500m, placing her 14th.

Isabella Trout each finished within half a second of each other in the 1500m, right in front of Murphy. West was 13th with a time of 5:45.51, while Trout was 12th with a time of 5:45.25.
Trout also competed in the 400m hurdles, finishing second with a time of 1:25.92.
The Regents will return to action on Friday, April 10, when they compete at the Beloit Relays at 5 p.m. CDT.
