ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced Tuesday morning that Rockford University junior catcher Liz Mois has been selected as the NACC Softball Position Player of the Week. This is Mois' first NACC weekly award of her career and the program's first NACC weekly award this season. 

Mois went 7-for-12 at the plate with eight RBIs and four home runs. In the second game she broke the single game home run record for the Regents with three, which ties the NACC record with seven other individuals. Mois also tied the program and NACC record in single game hits, totaling five. She went 5-for-7 with six RBIs. 

The RU softball team is back in action on Thursday, April 2 at Wheaton College. First pitch of the doubleheader is set for 3 p.m. CDT.
