WHITEWATER, Wis. -- The Rockford University women's track & field team competed at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative on Saturday.
In the track events,
Mariah Williams set records in both the 100m and 200m races. Williams ran in the 100m dash in the preliminaries with a time of 12.90 to place 17th.
Ella Oldham also competed in the 100m and finished 30th with a time of 15.00.
In the 200m, Williams clocked in at 26.71 to place 16th individually to break a program record by nearly a second.
Brianna Torres and
Donna Whiteside both competed in the 800m. Torres finished 17th with a 2:39.48 while Whiteside placed 21st with a time of 3:29.57.
Isabella Trout competed in the 1500m and 400m hurdle races. Trout finished in 21st place with a time of 5:31.43 and placed seventh in the 400m hurdle at 1:23.41.

Ashley Mersch, Whiteside, and Torres all ran the 4X400m relay and finished third, clocking in at 5:05.34.
In the field events, Oldham was the lone Regent competing in the Long Jump with a jump of 3.88m (12-8.75) to finish 18th.
Williams broke her third program record on the day in the triple jump with a jump of 10.65m (34-11.25), which breaks her previous record she set on April 10, at the Beloit Relays.
Mersch again broke her own record in the discus throw for the third consecutive week, this time with a throw of 42.52m (139-6) to finish sixth. In the Javelin she placed 18th with a throw of 19.11m (62-8).
The Regents will return to action on Friday, May 1, for the first day of the NACC Championships at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
