Women's Volleyball Falls in Both Triangular Matches

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University women's volleyball team went 0-2 in its triangular matches on Friday afternoon. It was a contested battle to open the day against St. Norbert. It started with a close 25-22 first set, but a rocky second set and a 25-20 third set ended the Regents opening match against their NACC opponent 3-0. It was a solid game from Della Crain however, she registered a team-high 11 kills, including her 1,000th career kill in the match. The second match of the day for the Regents was never really competitive, Rockford stayed with the Falcons of UW-River Falls for the beginning of each set, but collapsed in the later sets, turning in three straight scores of 25-15, 25-15, and 25-15.
