DE PERE, Wis. - The Rockford University women's volleyball team fell 3-0 on the road to the St. Norbert College Green Knights in a Saturday afternoon NACC meeting. St. Norbert dominated the match, leading in nearly every statistical category, including kills (48-15), aces (11-0), assists (45-14) and digs (61-40), but Rockford took the edge in blocks (5-1). The Regents struggled to get things going against the Green Knight attack and this ultimately led to set scores of 25-15, 25-16 and 25-9, which gave St. Norbert the win in straight sets.
- The Green Knights were able to take an early 5-0 lead to open the first set.
- St. Norbert took control of the set, eventually finding its way to a 21-9 lead, but the Regents were able to score the next four points thanks to a kill-a-piece for Tamsy Leverton and Madisen Perry and a block for Amelia Rodriguez and Madisen Perry. This brought the set to a 21-13 score.
- Rockford was unable to get anything else really going in this set and the Green Knights were able to take the first set 25-15.
- St. Norbert again got out an early lead at 6-1 to open the second set.
- Rockford was able to battle back, going on a slight 9-8 run to make it a 14-10 Green Knight lead after a kill from Jayce Shaw.
- The Green Knights were able to go on a run of their own, with an 11-5 run to close out the second set 25-16 and take a 2-0 lead in the match.
- The third set opened close, with a slight 7-5 St. Norbert lead after a kill by Madisen Perry.
- Unfortunately, the Regents struggled to get things going in this set and the Green Knights were able to go on an 18-4 run to close out the third set 25-9 and win the match in straight sets.
