DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The Rockford University men's track & field team competed at the Moco Mercer Challenge on Saturday.
Amro Shammakh broke the school record in the long jump, jumping 6.46m (21-2.25), while also winning the event.
Out on the track for the Regents,
Miles Lang also broke the school record in the 1,000m run, clocking in at 2:41.65.
Marquavion Young ran the 60m dash in 8.01 seconds.
Running in the 400m dash,
Gavin Collier and Young both finished with times of 55.73 and 1:00.53.
In the 200m dash
Nahome Zere finished the run in 27.21 seconds.
Nicholas Greenland ran the 3200m at 10:17.23.
The Regents will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Aurora Grand Prix.
