WHITEWATER, Wis. -- The Rockford University men's track & field team competed at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative on Saturday.
Gavin Collier,
Jack Potter, and
Nahome Zere each ran the 200m. They finished within a second of each other, clocking in at 24.03 (Collier), 24.32 (Potter), and 24.84 (Zere).
Collier and Potter also competed in the 400m. Collier ran a 53.84, while Potter PRed with a time of 56.01.
Marquavion Young also ran the 400m, crossing the finish line in 56.84, a personal best.
Miles Lang ran a 2:05.65 in the 800m and PRed in the 1500m at 4:20.21.
James Wallis competed in both those events as well, recording a personal best in both, at 2:19.01 and 4:34.49, respectively.
The 4x400m relay capped off the track events. Collier, Young, Potter, and Zere came in fifth with a time of 3:51.32.Â
Anthony Joyner was the Regents' lone competitor in the field events. He broke the school record in the shot put, finishing ninth with a throw of 14.53m (47-08.00).
The Regents will return to action on Friday, May 1, for the first day of the NACC Championships at Wisconsin Lutheran.
