Liz Mois grounder that was mishandled by the second baseman. The score was 3-1 going into the second.
The Eagles added two runs in each of the second and third innings to take a 7-1 lead. Rockford scored two of its own in the third, with Hill crossing home plate off of a wild pitch and Lee scoring from third courtesy of a Willenkamp sac fly to left to make it 7-3.

The Regents answered back with five of their own in the bottom of the inning. Mois' RBI single up the middle scored Lee from second. She scored off an Eagles' error, and then Nelson tripled to left center to drive in two runs of her own. She then scored off a passed ball to put RU up 5-1.
Both teams added two more in the second. Willenkamp brought Hill and Lee home with a base knock through the right side to make it a 7-3 Regents' lead.
The Eagles wouldn't score again. Knoll and the defense shut them out down the stretch. RU tacked on one run in the fourth when
Alexis Schuldt scored off of a Lee sac fly.
Rockford closed it out in the fifth. Knoll scored on a wild pitch and then Nelson kept up her bat going, driving in
Kieran Madigan with a double to left center. Hill singled to left to score Nelson and hand the Regents an 11-3 win in five innings.
