Women's Volleyball Battles at Wisconsin Lutheran

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Rockford University women's volleyball team lost a hard-fought match 3-0 on the road Saturday afternoon at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Despite what the final score might indicate, the match was extremely close and all three sets could have gone in either direction. The Regents led 22-18 late in the first set, but the Warriors scored the final seven points for the 25-22 win. Rockford was down just 21-19 in both the second and third sets, but could not close the gap, dropping the sets 25-21 and 25-20 respectively. Statistically, the biggest difference in the match was that WLC more than doubled Rockford's kill total (45-to-21).
