CARLINVILLE, Ill. - The Rockford University women's volleyball team took losses in both of its matches 3-0 to Blackburn College and Judson University. It was a tough day for the Regents overall as they lost the first 3 sets to Blackburn in pretty close matches of 25-14, 25-17 and 25-16. The Regents found it tough to get things going against Judson University as well losing in straight sets to make Rockford 0-2 on the day.

Blackburn: 3, Rockford: 0
- Rockford started the day off to a 2-0 lead to start set 1 of the first match and this first set would be pretty back and forth, being knotted up 9-9 almost halfway through the first set.
- Blackburn then went on a 9-1 run to give themselves the lead at 18-10, the Regents threatened with kills from Leila Cooks and Alexx Burton, but they were unable to get it going losing the first set 25-14
- In the second set, Blackburn got out to a quick 5-1 lead, but the Regents stormed back with a 5-1 run of their own off of 2 aces by Jasmine Landberg and a combination of Alexx Burton kills and Blackburn errors.
- The set remained back and forth, with the Regents even leading 11-10, including a Melody Moreno kill.
- The second set continued to be evenly matched, until the Beavers went on a 15-6 run to take set 2 25-17
- The Regents started out hot in the third set, getting out to a 4-0 lead off of multiple errors by the Beavers and a kill by Alexx Burton.
- The third set also was a back and forth affair with each team trading points until the Regents found themselves down 10-12 after kills from Melody Moreno and Leila Cooks.
- Blackburn was yet again able to make a push in the second half of the match and go on a 13-6 run to beat the Regents 25-16 and win the overall match 3-0.
Judson: 3, Rockford: 0
- Judson got out to a 3-0 lead early, but the Regents got their first point on a kill from Alexis Brashaw.
- The Eagles went on a 23-5 run, but Rockford was able to get 3 straight points, 2 of them coming from kills by Melody Moreno and Alexx Burton.
- Judson got the next 2 points and took set 1 25-9.
- In the second set, Judson also got out to a 3-0 lead, until the Regents got back to back points on kills from Tamsy Leverton and an ace by Brynn Atwell.
- The Eagles then went on a 9-2 run to take the lead back 12-2 and coasted to a 25-8 set win over the Regents.
- The third set started off 2-2 after a service ace and an error by Judson to let Rockford tie it back up.
- The Eagles scored the next 3 points, but the Regents responded with a kill from Caitlin Hicks to make the score 6-3.
- Rockford went on a 4-1 run to tie the set up 7-7 after a kill from Melody Moreno and multiple errors by Judson.
- Judson kept the lead in their grasp, but Rockford kept right behind them keeping the game close after a 3-1 run with kills from Tamsy Leverton, Leila Cooks, and Amelia Rodriguez making the score 12-11 Eagles.
- Judson went on a 10-5 run to make the score 22-16 in favor of the Eagles, but the Regents responded with 3 straight points to make the score 22-19.
- Judson would eventually take the game 25-21 and win the third set and take the overall match 3-0.
