BELOIT, Wis. - The Rockford University women's volleyball team split its two matches on Tuesday with Coe College and Beloit College. Rockford fell in straight sets to Coe (25-9, 25-10, 25-14), but then rebounded for a convincing 3-0 win (25-13, 25-12, 25-22) at Beloit. The Regents struggled to find their rhythm offensively against the Kohawks. Rockford had both 15 kills and 15 attack errors, while Coe amassed 44 kills and had just 8 attack errors. Fortunately, it was the exact opposite situation for the Regents in game two. Rockford tallied 34 kills compared to only 8 attack errors and held the Bucs to a -.029 hitting percentage.

Coe 3 Rockford 0
- Coe used both a 7-1 and a 10-0 run during the first set to take a commanding 21-6 lead.
- Although Rockford played nearly even with Coe the rest of the set, it was not enough, as Coe won 25-9 and took a 1-0 lead.
- The second set had a near identical flow to it as the first.
- The Kohawks used a pair of big runs (10-1 and 7-1) to win the set 25-10 and grab a 2-0 advantage.
- The Regents were able to keep the third set closer than the first two.
- Rockford took a 4-3 lead on a Savannah Crooks ace and then were tied with the Kohawks at 5-5.
- However, Coe was once again able to put some space between themselves and the Regents thanks to both a 6-1 and a 7-2 spurt.
- The Regents were unable to get any closer than seven points the rest of the match, falling 25-14 in the set and dropping the match 3-0.
Rockford 3 Beloit 0
- Rockford opened the match on a 17-7 run to quickly take a 10-point lead. Four different Regents had kills over that span, led by two each from Melody Moreno and Tamsy Leverton.
- Beloit nearly cut the Regent lead in half with a 4-0 run of its own.
- However, Rockford closed the set by scoring eight of the final ten points for the 25-13 win.
- The second set went back and forth early on with four lead changes over the first 11 points.
- With the score tied at 6-6, Rockford ran off 12 of the next 13 points to take a commanding 18-7 lead. Tamsy Leverton and Madisen Perry each had two kills over that span.
- Beloit never got any closer than ten the rest of the way, as Rockford won the second set 25-12.
- Rockford came roaring out of the gates and took a 7-1 advantage to start the third set. Alexx Burton and Madisen Perry both smashed home a pair of kills for RU.
- However, Beloit answered right back with a 7-2 spurt of its own to pull back within a single point at 9-8.
- The Regents were able methodically to push their lead back out to six points at 19-13.
- With the Regents still holding a six-point advantage at 22-16, Beloit scored the next four points to get back to with two late in the set.
- Fortunately, Rockford scored three of the final five points to win the set 25-22 and the match 3-0.

- Madisen Perry led the Regents with 8 kills and a .571 hitting percentage. She also added 6 digs and an assist.
- Tamsy Leverton had 6 kills and 0 errors on just 8 attack attempts for a .750 hitting percentage. She added 4 digs and an assist to her totals.
- Jasmine Landberg tallied a match-high 13 digs, 8 assists and an ace.
- Melody Moreno finished with 8 digs, 7 kills and a block.
- Leila Cooks added 15 assists, 6 digs, 2 aces and 2 kills.
