Rockford University

Mike Messman was a member of the Rockford College Swimming team from 1962-1964. He was a two-year letterwinner for the Regents. Messman led the team in multiple categories, including points in 1964, Most Valuable Player in 1962-1963 and 1963-1964, and named Team Captain in 1964. In addition to his outstanding team accolades, he holds eight Rockford College records. When he was inducted in 1986, he became the fourth Regent swimmer in the Hall of Fame.
